BIOGRAPHY
A little about
who I am.
I'
m in my final year of New York University's Mental Health Counseling program, and I see clients at Insight & Action
Therapy as an Associate Therapist under supervision. Before graduate school, I spent four years in social-emotional learning and outdoor education with children and adolescents in Maine. That work shaped my belief that meaningful relationships, supportive environments, and opportunities for self-discovery play a real role in well-being.
My approach is grounded in curiosity and empathy. I focus on building relationships within which clients feel genuinely heard, and wherein they can explore what they are carrying without judgment. I'm particularly drawn to working with people moving through change, uncertainty, and growth, and I offer a space where they can slow down and make sense of what they are experiencing.
I see counseling as a collaborative process. Trust and curiosity create the conditions for real exploration, and I believe that individual people are the experts on their own lives. My background in SEL and outdoor education taught me how much connection matters, and how much can shift when people feel comfortable being themselves. I bring that same conviction into my counseling work: meaningful change often begins the moment someone feels heard.
MY APPROACH
Curiosity, then care.
You already know more about your life than anyone else does. My job is to help you look at it with fresh eyes, notice what's working, and build on it together. Here's a sense of what our time together can look like.
My work is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based counseling. Each client brings their own knowledge, instincts, and understanding of their experiences, and my role is to create a space where those can be explored with curiosity and care. I stay engaged with every person I sit with, and I let what I learn shape the work.
