Fees and Insurance
We are an out-of-network provider and we work with most major insurance companies, including United Healthcare, Cigna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and EmblemHealth. We know issues of insurance and benefits are complicated as no two plans (even within the same insurance company!) are the same. We do our best to make getting therapy as easy as possible so we will file claims on your behalf. You just worry about paying the agreed-upon rate, we will take care of the rest.
Q: I have insurance; now what?
A: Please call us at 347-327-3698 or submit an online inquiry so that our support staff can check your benefits and let you know what your out-of-pocket rate will be. For individual therapy, our standard pre-deductible rate is $200 per session (the time when you are still meeting your plan's deductible) and our typical copay is $75 per session (after your deductible has been met).
Q: What if I don't have insurance OR what if I have insurance but no out-of-network benefits?
A: For individual therapy, our standard out-of-pocket rate per session is between $200-$250, depending on which therapist you are working with; however, depending on circumstances and on the therapist you work with, we may be able to adjust the rate. Our Advanced Clinical Intern Training Program allows for more flexibility when our standard rate is not feasible. We aim to make therapy as affordable as possible so please contact us if you would like to be considered for a sliding scale rate.
